Born and raised under the sunny skies of Southern California, Sean Taber discovered dance music early in life. Raised on a combination of Disco, 80s Pop, Merengue, Oldies and Salsa, he developed a love for music that was both emotional and energetic.

While growing up in Los Angeles, many of his peers were immersing themselves in Hip Hop and R&B, yet somehow Sean was able to discover an alternative scene: House. Turned onto the music by such classic tracks as Ralphi Rosario's "You Used to Hold Me", The Bucketheads "The Bomb" and DJ Sneak's "You Can't Hide from Your Bud", he immediately dove into House music, listening to anything he could get his hands on. Here was a sound that not only got his feet moving, but could also lift his spirits.

During high school, Sean continued to explore House music, even producing some tracks. But it wasn't until 2001, when he attended his first rave, that decided to make DJing a part of his life. Now, 7 years later, he's showing no signs of slowing down!

A Native of Northern VA, J Laine is making his mark as a music mogul.
He has performed with artists including Aretha Franklin, El DeBarge, Erykah Badu, Common, Steve Coleman, Meshell N'Degeocello, Dwele, Louie Bellson, Charlie Byrd, Fred Wesley, Frank Wess, Jimmy Heath, Yusef Lateef and was the drummer for OMAR's "Sing...if you want it" national tour.  

When J's all around favorite beat maker and dj J Dilla passed, he found several ways to coordinate tributes including the J DILLA memorial concert of which he is music director.  The Concert features performances by Felton, Raheem DeVaughn, Wayna, Grap Luva, DJ Roddy Rod, Asheru, Cy Young and other local acts. The first concert featured Dilla's premier group Slum Village as the headliner.  
APPLE JONS is a 32 track instrumental album created in the style of "Donuts" and has been acclaimed by top producers and djs in the nation. Releasing advanced copies last year at his release party, J received a call from Tastefullicks records to re-release it under the label this summer. 
      Currently working on a 26 city tour, JLaine is also working on completing his 2nd LP tentatively titled “to live and die in va” due out this fall.

The Silent Salesmen project is now being featured on DJ SNEAKS new "Ministry of Sound Sessions" double disc mix hailing out of the UK. Modern Groove and Mob Zombie will have tracks available very soon!

Theory is also a new addition to the "www.Limachips.com" resident dj lineup, along with super talented names such as Rich Medina, Bobbito Garcia, Dj Center, and much more!
